What's the best way to spend your Discover cash back?

What's the best way to spend the cash back bonus?

A $50 gift card for $45 is 10% back minus the 2% I could get by using another card. Is there something better?

Lol.

I wasn't sure if they ran bonus promos from time to time. It's been a while since I last cashed in there.

For me, Discover cashback only helped at couple of occasions.
In my entire 7 years with Discover, I have only used Discover Cashback to redeem Samsonite and Crutchfield.

My last redemption was for 2.5k Discover cash for $3,125 Crutchfiled gift cards. Its a solid 25% more and it helped me to buy a Nikon D800.

I find many of the gift card redemptions not that great. We could buy most of those gift cards for atleast 10-15% discounted from the other gift card websites.
