Discover CLI

Postby HookEmHorns » Thu Aug 08, 2013 8:47 pm

I just applied for a CLI with Discover. I requested a raise to 5,000(I knew I wouldn't get this) from my current limit of 1,300. They gave me a raise to 1,800 instead. I'm actually surprised they gave me a raise at all..Guess I won't complain too much.

I got the $5 Starbucks card about a month in. Then I got a $150 auto CLI about 4 months in.

I had got my discover IT card in March '13 with a CL of $1200. I passed my 6 month mark and requested a CLI on Tuesday and was denied. Yesterday I logged onto my acct again to pay my bill and saw my new CL IS $1500. Had this happened to anyone before? I'm happy I got my increase

My first two CLIs with discover were also pretty small, but now my Discover has a 10,000 limit, which I'm more than happy with. I started with at 1,000 limit (I was a student at the time). I do remember once taking a hard pull and getting a measly $500 increase. But I've also gotten a 3,000 increase with no pull at all.
