My Discover card not showing on credit report yet?

Postby nismoZtuner » Thu Jul 18, 2013 5:32 pm

Okay so about 2 months ago I applied for a Discover It card (my 3rd credit card) in which I was approved with a credit limit of $1500. After my first and second statement I paid my balance in full..

Up to now it seems that Discover hasn't reported my account with Transunion.

Is there anyone who has had or has this same expirance?

I have noticed that with some credit grantors, initial reporting to TU could take up to three months. Also, when I changed my payment due date with Discover, they skipped three months then caught up on month four.

I agree with Terry. I've had several of them recently and they all took 2 months to report.

well it was added yesterday,

When i updated my credit score on 7/18/2013 i had a new account added to report but it wasnt showing who the account was from.
My credit score went from 737 to 775 after the update.

All i have to wait now is for american express to add the PRG to my report since i thought Amex was going to beat Discover into adding my account to my report.

Hopefully when they add the PRG to my account it doesnt lower my credit score since i applied for 3 credit cards in 1 month and half- I was approved for all 3.

Discover took 2 months to report for me as well. I was shocked that my CSP took 7 days to report, never seen that.

Some lenders are fast. My account with BOA was reported before I got the card.
