Is "newaccts@discover.com" a legit email?

Postby lipwe » Wed May 15, 2013 4:07 pm

I just want to verify whether this e-mail address affiliated with Discover credit card is correct "newaccts@discover.com". I was informed to send my utility bill to this e-mail address to complete my application, but it seems like this e-mail address is not correct. can anyone who have done this before know the correct address.

Thank you very much in advanced

Yeah I agree with MDL. Sounds like a legit email but before sending any personal info I would call and check
Bank of America Travel Rewards Visa Signature - 5k (2/10)
Capital One Mastercard- 2.5k (1/11)
Chase Freedom- 5k (4/11)
Discover It- 3k (5/11)
Chase Amazon Visa- 2k (5/13)
American Express Blue Cash Everyday- 8k (5/13)

Bank of America WorldPoints Rewards for Business- 18k (11/11)

I would call and check for yourself but also inspect the email more. I know when I receive emails from American Express they include the last four or five digits in one part of the email to show that it is from them. Also emails from Chase include a verification code for this purpose exclusively, if you don't think it's really from Chase then call the number on your card, tell them that code in the email and they'll so if it is legit or not.
American Express Platinum Card
American Express TrueEarnings Card from Costco
Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Signature Card
Chase Sapphire Preferred World MasterCard
Discover It
