When does Discover report to all three credit bureaus?

Postby Salisbury » Fri Mar 15, 2013 4:38 pm

Hey all, I'm a new member here. I just recently (2 years ago) started to get my credit in order. What a hard and timely process this can be. I was just curious if anyone knows when Discover reports your account to the three credit bureaus?

Usually a few days after your Statement closes. Last month for some reason it took them a while to report to Transunion, but they did report to Experian on time (for me at least).
Credit Union Visa: $5000 (4/11)
Discover IT $1750 (10/12)
Chase Freedom $1500 (3/13)
BofA Credit Card: $18.7k (1/02) (Authorized User)
Secured CapOne Visa: $300 (5/12)
Banana Republic Store: $1200 (5/11)
Express Next A-List: $1340 (6/11)

FICOS (as of 3/15/12):
EQ 762
EX 731
TU 747

For my account, Discover reports to Experian and Equifax within one to two days after statement closing date; Transunion reporting usually occurs a few days after that.

For me it happens within a week of the closing date. Sometimes it's 2 days and others it can be as many as 6.
My Cards

Chase Freedom Visa Signature: $5.2K
Capital One Quicksilver Visa: $7.5K
Discover IT: $5.5K
Huntington Voice World Mastercard: $1.6K

In the garden indefinitely.
