Yeah the plate you have on your car is the one I had or one similar, which looks nice. The top one really looks Mickey Mouse.

This is how the new one looks... way cleaner

Yeah, I heard that they already redesigned them to be the white and black version. Much better for sure as the colours are toned down and there aren't letters and numbers mixed together....I just wish they weren't flat. The new Georgia plates and the soon to be replaced Florida ones are comically bad.

So it just goes to show how a bad design can have conjure up bad feelings.

I still think it would be funny if they changed it to say "Republic of Texas".

Back on topic -

My IT arrived over the holidays while I was out of town. Yeah, the design is pretty gimmicky, but I really didn't feel like the card was thinner than any of my other plastic cards. If anything, it felt a bit more substantial.

Numbers on the back? Yeah, not a huge fan. When ING sent my new debit card last month, they did something similar - the numbers looked to be printed on a sticker that was applied to the back of the card. The CSP gets some weird looks, too, even from the owner of the little Chinese restaurant we order from almost every week. You'd think she'd be used to it by now.

In the end, it boils down to this: I will let a tribe of chimpanzees design my card if I find value in the rewards attached to it.

I've had the IT card for about 2 months now. I didn't think it would be anything great when I first got it, but this card is a must have for online shopping. ShopDiscover is amazing. When my wife and I go shopping now I always make her pick stuff out then buy it online at home so I can use ShopDiscover. lol

Wow! This is one of the craziest threads I've read so far haha, you guys went from credit cards, to license plates to chimps, very interesting! I'm not a fan of Discover in general because so few places accept them around my area, usually it's MC, Visa, and Amex...can't go wrong with one of each :)
Wallet: Amex BCE & Chase Freedom. (Credit Card dieting since 2014)
