I was just comparing the base rewards. Priceline does have one 5% bonus category: name your own price Priceline bids.

Chase offers cash back in any amount over $20, while Discover only offers cash back in $50 increments.

I disagree. Both offer 1% on everything and 5% rotation. Discover is a little better on buying gift cards, giving a 20% discount, while Freedom offers 10-15%. But chase also offers the 10+10% if you have a checking account so actually earn more than 1%. And as you mentioned, the Freedom can be paired with a CSP for amazing travel rewards.

The IT is a great card, I just don't think it has the room to grow that the Freedom offers.

That's why I hedged my opinion by saying it could beat Freedom as a pure cash-back card. Freedom has benefits beyond cash that bump it up the ranking. My final suggestion would even things up more. Also, Discover could offer a bonus equivalent to the 10+10 for keeping a savings account with them.

Of course, the UR transfer partners beat out just about anyone for points redemption...

It's a big change for discover in the long run. I guarantee more customers will start using discover card. Personally, I want to close my Chase account, they won't lower my Apr. I'm not gonna pay them 23.24%... Jerk offs lol.

I don't understand why anyone is concerned with APR? I would only care if it's 0%. If it's not, I don't care if it's 25% or 90% because I'm not, and will never pay any interest on a CC.

Because its nice to have a low Apr in case I can't pay in full... Which currently I am carrying a balance. Hence no usage. I can't pay all my cards in full. That's why I like having a low Apr.
