Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I see maybe I'm missing something.

It is just a cool looking card. Free advertising for Discover.

No, that's pretty much it. There are some other small differences such as having its own dedicated phone number which immediately prompts you to dial 0 to connect with a representative, but that's the only real difference that I've seen. I've been putting off reporting my whole snafus of converting my More account to an it, but I just haven't had the time yet. Coming soon to a credit card forum near you.

I just try saying "representative" more often than not it will get you through a maze of voicemail hell.

You know that's a whole new subject we could talk about - how these systems seem to be designed to keep you from speaking with a human being. They tell you that you can check your balance and make payments online. Yes that is true and that's great and I do things like that online. When I call you it's because I need to speak with a human being because I CAN'T do what I need to do online. I wish some of these places would get with the program and not make that a painful ordeal that makes me want to hang myself in my closet (Discover is good by the way and not one of the offenders).

It would appear based on the current terms and conditions for IT that IT offers 1% right away in addition to the 5% quarterly Cashback Bonus that More offers. So, More has the infamous 0.25% & 0.50% tiers up to the first $3,000 in spend and IT has 1% right out of the gate.

"REWARDS: We will send full terms and conditions with your card. Each quarterly 5% program has a cap on category purchases and you must sign up for each program. The amount of the cap may change. 5% category purchases over the quarterly cap, and all other purchases, earn a full 1% cash back. Click here to see the current 5% program details. "

I am not sure why they had to make a gimmicky, debossed card design to finally become competitive with virtually every other cash back card currently available. One of my favourite things about More is the different card designs.....

I suppose if one is loyal to Discover a product change to IT is a no brainer for the fact that you will no longer endure the sub 1% cashback tiers.
