I was thinking about applying for the More, but I might as well apply for this one. Like someone said before, its like the same card with less fees (and looks cooler).

Just got my IT card, and the card itself is thicker than my old more card. It is actually thicker than all of my other credit cards as well

Because after repeated attempts Discover failed to convert my perfectly good More card to an IT card, I filled out the online app. for IT. I got the screen giving me a number to call and expedite the application. I called and was transferred to a senior credit analyst who supposedly was able to issue me a new IT card with $8750 of my old More credit line, leaving $500 available on the More. I was told that I would have the IT card one week from today. I really have no interest in using this card as my other cards offer superior rewards and, apparently, more competent customer service. I just want to see the famous IT card in all its glory in person.

Okay so talked to online person, told me that with the IT discover automatically does UPS 1-3 days instead of the regular 7-10 with USPS. I once again have somehow ended up with 2 freaking cards again. I got one today and apparently another one is coming on tuesday

Applied last night, got the 5-7 days message after submitting a document with my current address on it and creating an account. They gave me the backdoor number but I wasn't sure about calling them. I checked again this afternoon and I was approved for a $3,000 CL. They pulled TU and it is 706 at the moment.

I'm a full-time student with an Orchard Bank Mastercard (June 2011 - $320 CL), a paid student loan (August 2009), and I am an authorized user of a BoA secured credit card (for some reason I reports anyway, September 2010 - $300). I have three years of credit history, no late payments, no derogatory marks, and I always PIF. I'm glad Discover approved me since I was denied three years ago from a lack of credit history. I can't wait to get my card in a few days and I will update when I get the chance.
AMEX Blue Sky (November 2012)
Citi Diamond Preferred MC (August 2012)
Discover It (August 2012)
Orchard Bank MC (June 2011)
Bank Americard Cash Rewards (September 2010)

Current scores: 715 TU / 724 EQ / 724 EX

That's a very good looking card. So is it like super heavy plastic?

Also, someone on myfico said that Discover is working on making more designs for the IT and even making it METAL! I sure hope that's true.

That is a really cool presentation!
