Yeah I found that info on another site. From what I've read, the rewards are the same as More, and if you PC then you can't ever change to another card.

I can't see the point of IT (haha) really. Rewards are the same, you lock yourself into it, some may think design is cooler but I'm fine with More, it's just for people who run a balance and miay miss a payment it sounds like. Am I missing something I just don't see the sizzle here.

Now, IF they would have say removed or bettered the caps on rewards, and allowed us to choose categories like say the Cash +, THEN maybe I'd feel pumped. But the fact they are locking you into it tells me they see it as being for a lower category of customer than the More card. That could well be and it could be valid, but for those of us with More, it's like Eh.....

43251, to answer your question. The new Chase Sapphire (non-preferred) is non-embossed with only one's name on the front and the account details on the back. It looks really nice. I wish all cards were like this.
American Express: Blue Cash Preferred (groceries, 6%; gas, department store, 3%); Gold Delta SkyMiles (Delta Air Lines, 2 miles/dollar, free checked bag).
US Bank: Cash+ (utilities, phone, internet, restaurant, 5%; drugstores, 2%).
FIA Card Services: Fidelity Amex (everything, 2%); Fidelity Visa (everything, 1.5%).
Chase: Freedom (rotating, 5%); Amazon (Amazon.com, 3%); PriorityClub (IHG hotels, 5 points/dollar); Sapphire (not in use).

*All cards are registered with PriorityClub IDine program for 8 points/dollar at participating restaurants.

It appears from the card overview page on the Discover website that More is no longer available except in the Student version. I'm guessing that the IT card is intended to replace More for new accounts. Perhaps Discover will eventually migrate current More accounts to IT down the road.

I will make the switch assuming I keep the same account number and configuration for auto pay, payment date, etc. that I currently have with More. The rewards will also have to be equal or better. The only reason I want the IT card is because it's apparently non-embossed with account details on back, like Chase Sapphire. I really like that.

However, like the Sapphire card, I expect I won't find a reason to use the IT card as my current complement of cards for maximum cashback is Amex Blue Cash Preferred, US Bank Cash+, Fidelity Amex and Chase Amazon.

Like Jeffysdad says they did remove the option to get the regular more version from the website. I wonder if they will let me convert my student more into the IT
