Does anyone know, how often Discover updates the FICO Score from Equifax? I was wondering if its like credit karma and updates weekly and or once on month when you get your statement?

I thought all Discover FICO scores were TransUnion? If you are referring to the free FICO score, it is updated every month.
My Cards:

Discover It - $8,450 (9/13)
BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Signature - $5,000 (4/14)
Chase Freedom - $3,000 (5/14)
AMEX Hilton HHonors - $16,500 (6/14)

Can confirm that it is indeed a TransUnion FICO score and that it updates once a month.

Updates once every statement period in which there was activity. In other words, if you pass a statement period in which you don't use the card, you don't get your FICO score for that period.

Discover now has a little chart for tracking your TU FICO over time like Barclaycard has. My TU FICO has taken a modest beating from 740 down to 725, with the 7 new accounts I've opened (and had report) in the last year.
Keeping indefinitely: IHG, SchwabPlat, CSP, Discover, Freedom, ED, BCE, Hyatt, SPG
May close or PC: Prestige, Arrival, BrooksBros
AA Platinum converting into Costco

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech

I think mine dropped from 724 to 708 due to some of the accounts I HP'd on due to my impatience.

HPs for new accounts? Or CLI requests? I only have 4 TU inquiries, since most of my cards are from Amex and Chase - issuers which pull EX fairly consistently.

It was HP's for new accounts and two CLI's (Discover and CapOne).

Ouch! It's probably best to avoid HP CLIs with those issuers in the future.

Discover is (if you're patient) good about SP CLIs. I might possibly get a Venture just for the bonus, but I wouldn't want to put serious spending on one long-term.
