Kind of insulting because of having: Diners Club at $15,000 and a Chase card at $15,000 plus a Citi MC at $8,000 and a BofA Visa at $8,000. Whatever. I was able to get them to get me up to $3,000 after 3 months in November 14. I got a HP increase after that of $500. Whooptee doo. Then an auto increase of $250. Wow. #sarcasm. Anyway, that took me to $3,750. Within the last 3 weeks I used the online increase button and got not one, but two, $1,000 SP increases. Now my Discover is at $5,750 which I never thought would happen. Discover seems to be handing out CLI's like candy lately.
Yeah I know. It's totally out of character for them. But I'm happy about it. I really want to get my IT to 10k. I honestly never thought that was possible either.
I think they are responding to the market - they were recently pretty much THE most conservative non subprime lender. Even Cap One loosened up on their subprime cards, so I think Discover had to follow suit to some degree.
It's worked out well for us. I'm happy to give them swipes.
Good to hear you rage closed it. If you are going to close you might as well do it all out.
