They sent me a gift card when I got married. I was rather amused by that.
(They found out I got married because I called to tell them I was traveling, and they asked why, and I told them it was my honeymoon. They also asked if I wanted to add my wife as an AU.)

They sent me two of the Starbucks e-gifts last year. One at September for whatever reason, and I gave it to others. The other was to celebrate graduation, yet to be used. Haven't received any Starbucks gift this year.

I got one in July, for what I previously thought was no special occasion...they were just happy to have me as a moderate-spending, not-5%-only, steadily-paying customer.

I just checked the dates, though, and it was a few days after I took a HP for a CLI on Freedom. At the time, my only cards were Freedom, It, and PRG.

So perhaps not a coincidence...

Really not sure what I'll add next or when

Same,

They're good with marketing and hopefully, go far. I'm def use them to swipe everything, unless discover isn't accepted.

15.5 years....they never offer me anything. I still have the More card so that probably has something to do with it. They treat More customers like the uncle nobody likes to talk about.

I got one a couple months after opening my account. Also really appreciated the gesture.

I currently put a good deal of my spending through Discover, also not all 5%...but it is split now between Discover and Amex while, when I first got the card, absolutely everything went through Discover. I don't see myself doing anything that would trigger another one.
