I had one issue with Amazon, and in the end it worked out ok. I had ordered some decorations for my daughter's room. I can't remember what it was. Well, the package arrived, but we weren't ready to decorate so I just set it aside without opening. Fast forward like a month or two and we go to open the box. It was a hardback copy of the U.S. Constitution...no lie. Someone at Amazon either had a really bad day, or wanted to play a really bad practical joke.
Long story short, I called Amazon and explained the situation. They told me that even though it was past the return period, they'd honor it and exchange the incorrect item for what I had ordered. I suppose given how ridiculous the discrepancy was, they probably felt they had no choice. I could've easily pulled up my ordered and had my CC company address it, which probably could've turned out worse for them.
