M of P, it looks like this worked for you! I ended up calling in a complaint to the state and not disputing the credit card charge because they would have reversed the whole amount instead of only the taxes. Have you gone back even more recently to make sure they are still behaving themselves? If they turn back to scamming you should do the whole thing over again LOL and it would be easier the second time around I would think since American Express has records of the previous incident.

These people have to learn so I guess we need to do what we have to do. I'll check my receipt closely next time and if this happens again I won't be "nice" and call it in, I'll call up C.C. customer service and slap them with a chargeback.
