I just bought someone I saw on TV and it is definitely NOT what was advertised. What they claimed the product could do, it's not possible to do, which was remove car dings in the doors. I just waisted $50 on this piece of crap. I think the video were deceptive because the "after" shots were cut later. They never showed a continuous shot of the guy putting the product on and removing the dent which is supposed to only take seconds.
Does this qualify as a fraudulent transaction? I feel it does because I paid for something and what I got was not what was advertised. Am I right on this? |

Who's your credit card company? I think that qualifies. If nothing else you should have the right to dispute it and tell your side. Try filing a fraud report and see what happens.

If you have an American Express Platinum or Gold card they've always reversed the charge for me in situations like this. That's my favorite thing about AMEX is they handle crap like this for you when it happens.

My credit card is a Bank of America Visa Platinum card. You think they'll take care of it for me?

I had a few claims with B of A and they handled it. But they do tend to (from when I used them) lean towards the merchants side and not yours. What I didn't like was I remember them just making their decision after the company responds and not giving you a chance to do a followup. At least that's what I remembered happening but it was years ago so I could be wrong.

You should visit the better business bureau. http://www.bbb.org
You can also file a complaint with the attorney general's office. |
