Hi All:
Upon my purchase on-line, I was duped by phony Co. and charged $150.00 last month, that I found when I received a credit statement two days ago. I immediately called my Credit Co. explaining I NEVER purchased, nor authorized it. Also, I asked my Credit Co. to stop a payment of $150.00. However, a representative told me that I needed to pay that amount, $150.00 along with other purchases over the Internet. My question is; How long does it take this, a phony Co. getting $150.00 from my Credit Co.? Because, although a statement indicates a transaction, $150.00 completed, someone told me my Credit Co. didn't pay $150.00 until I'd send payment to my Credit Co. Is it true??? : ![]() Thanks for any helps on this. |

The payments go through in "batches" to the merchants usually every 2 or 3 days but that doesn't matter. If it was a fraudulent charge you are not responsible for it no matter what. Have you ever done business with this company before? It sounds like you haven't and this charge is totally foreign. Call back up your credit card company and explain this to them that it is a fraudulent charge you know nothing about (if that's true) and by law they will have to instantly reverse that charge and refund your account the money.

Like Cucumber said too, you're not responsible at all if this is a fraudulent charge. Be sure and dispute this and if you have any problems please share them here.
