Talking having second credit cards in other names?

you know how when you open a credit card they ask you if you want any additional cards for other people? they put down any name you want, they don't need to verify the credit worthiness or ID of that person b/c it goes under your name and social since you're the primary cardholder.

here's some guy that opened up a credit card in michael jackson's name lol

Michael Jackson is a very common, ordinary name. So is George Bush.

Haha funny but would have been better if he did used a less common name. Something that no two people would have. Like Barack Obama, now there's a name there's only one of. But if they used a politician's name they probably would have got in some major trouble.

This is a big no-no for someone trying to steal an identity. Some places that ask for two forms of ID include a credit card as one. If you can just go get a credit card in any name you're already half way there. I know in Canada when I was up there my credit card counted as a second proof of ID.
