Hello, no suspicious charges have been made to my card but everyone I told the story to tell me to cancel it and have another reissued, so I did. When I told the story to the CC rep, he suggested to cancel (to be safe). If she did take my info down, I doubt she would try transactions right away, unless she was really stupid.

Also, it was more of a vibe thing. Her body language and demeanor changed completely when it came time to do the transaction. The length of time she took was plenty to take the info down. Better safe than sorry (the hassle of disputing charges and ect...). What sucks is that I had just upgraded my World to the World Elite, so I'll have to wait a few days to get it back lol.

I would totally cancel that and have another CC overnighted. Even after just 10 minutes I probably would have requested to speak to the manager then and there just to let the waiter know that walking off with my CC for that long is NOT ok.

Did you notice if it was an ingenico terminal? All of their portable terminals won't even let you start the transaction if its run out of paper or won't have enough to complete the transaction.

Chip cards are great. Everyone needs to move to Chip cards! I would call to notify your credit card company and get a new card just to be on the safe side.
