Trust me in dealing with HSBC, you'll spend more time dealing with it than you ever want to. Simply return to sender and be done with it. :)

Unless it was your name of course, in which case you shouldn't even bother HSBC just call the RCMP and send HSBC a copy of the report with a demand to cancel the card with no damage to your credit. HSBC is a true pain to deal with (in all countries).
