I have also been charged for 3 months from these people and I also used Spokeo. The strange fact is that Privpro did a balance inquiry on my account on 8/7/12, Spokeo charged my account on 8/13/12 (a week later). Privpro did not start charging my accoumt until 9/10/12.

Why does everybody hating in this thread and claiming the same exact fraud charges have only 1 post....somethings up here

Maybe they did a quick google search of "PRIVPRO" and got redirected to this thread and signed up to vent? lol. I've seen similar posts on myfico as well.

Privpro fraud me today usd 14,95

Hello, i'm an italian man about 34 years old. the27th of March I made a transaction on and i bought Teo flights to New York.

Today I was really disappointed when I saw that PRIVPRO charter from my credit card USD 14,95 without my permission. I tried to call the pone number that other memberships white on this site but without success. Was I defrauded from this PRIVPRO? Is anybody please has something to tell me? Thank you

It sounds like the kind of scummy service that people would get roped into doing by visiting a website to make a purchase and then being "offered" some kind of expensive subscription service they didn't want and people just clicked through it not understanding what they were doing. Some very reputable internet retailers were doing this before it was reported on by media outlets a few years ago. I'm not surprised that it's still out there since they count on people not paying attention to either the "offer" or a regular charge appearing on their credit card.
