CCNow order using credit card rejected for non authorization

Postby The Land Of Germs » Mon Jan 10, 2011 3:49 pm

hello creditgurus

i tried buying something online...

it was supposed to charge me 130 bucks for the item plus shipping but i get a msg from my bank on my phone that i was charged 169 bucks... and an email from the security online shopping people saying thank you for ordering and shopping with us... so anyways minutes later the same people email me saying

Thank you for your order number 199-38-2809 from CCNow Unfortunately, we were not able to obtain credit card authorization for your order, due to the following reason: We're sorry, but your credit card company did not authorize this transaction. No explanation was given to CCNow. You may wish to contact yourcredit card company regarding this matter

does this mean i was charged or not... i cant look it up now as its late where i am and i dont have online banking but i would like to know if youve heard of similar cases and what happened

i tried looking up my order through ccnow.com but they asked for my credit card number and i dont feel like being fooled twice

thank you

Hi there,

I work for CCNow and I happened to stumble across your message via Google blog alerts. It sounds like we attempted to pre-authorize the charge initially but the charge was ultimately declined by your credit card issuer, I am glad to hear that the charge was dropped from your account.

You should contact your credit card issuer to resolve the issue of why you cannot order online, your card issuer for some reason is not allowing online transactions (at least from CCNow).

Feel free to contact us at serviceTAKETHISPARTOUT@ccnow.com or 1-877-226-6977 (1-952-646-5139 internationally) if you have any further problems or questions.

Sincerely,

Daniel Blade
