BestBuy CitiCard Dispute Nightmare

We need help what to do next.
Back in June 2016 we purchased a floor work for $4,560 and we signed paperwork at the store agreeing that it will be 6 months as cash. They opened up a credit line through Syncrony Bank but then they also charged my Bestbuy credit card for $7,560 (they got our card because they took it during credit application process). We tried to call the store, always got voice mail and no one returned my calls. We tried to dispute it through Citibank but they keep giving us run around. First we filed as fraud because it's unauthorized charge, they investigated it and decided that it wasn't fraud because we initiated a business transaction with the store. Then they said we can disputed as it's billing error, we had to start the process all over again. During the entire process, we include all prove and documentations we have. It's been over 6 months and yesterday we got another letter from Citibank saying that our documents does not support our claim and will put the amount of $7,560 back to our account. I wonder what document that store give to Citibank that we authorized $7,560 charge to our credit card.

All of this could have been prevented if Citibank did not let the charge went through. Our credit limit is only $4,100 and they let this $7,560 charged went through without contacting me.

What else should I do?

So you were approved for the Synchrony credit line and your card was charged anyway? Just making sure I understand this. Or were you rejected for the Synchrony line, and then they charged your card?

What did you buy? And is it $4,560 or $7,560?
