I know it's a FAKO score, but it still felt good to see the 26 point jump! I still have a ways to go, and keeping the end result I want in the back of my mind when I make different credit decisions guides me along.

They do, they're the 734 in my signature, but this is TU. My Experian will probably drop from the recent inquiries (Citi & Amex). I'm more surprised by the 26 point jump than anything really.

I downloaded the Score & Report app on to my iphone and check my credit score that way. I think it also pulls a TU score. Has anyone else tried it? If so, how does the score compare to other services?

It looks similar to Credit Karma (I haven't download the Score & Report app). Just as long as you keep in mind that's it's not an actual FICO score, and use it to look more at your report to keep an eye out for suspicious things, you should be fine.

Everybody and their brother are coming out with these free reports and sometimes scores, so we'll probably see more in the future.

Discover gives an EX score through Credit Scorecard, and I think it's a FAKO. The monthly TU FICO is from having the card.
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG, Prestige (retention)
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt
SD with activity alerts, might close: Arrival

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech, BofA Travel PH, Aviator Red

It's Experian FICO:

Your FICO® Score based on
Experian data
733

I forgot all about credit scorecard. I'm kind of surprised they use 2 different models for real FICO scores. I know one doesn't require an account with them.

Yes I've used Score and Report. I agree it is is useful to watch suspicious items and as a warning tool for inquiries, new accounts etc. I've also used Credit Sesame and the real Fico scores offered by most banks now. I have noticed that the free reports, that typically use transunion, are 10-20 points below my Fico scores. Not a big deal as these free score reports use different weights on number of cards/loans, outstandings, usage, etc. versus Fico.
