Default Closing Gold - transfer "limit?"

I'm ready to close my Gold card. Is there a way to transfer the spending ability of the Gold to another of my Amex cards, a la Chase? Or, does that only work between revolvers?

I'd take a wild guess that the annual fee is due, and he doesn't see that the rewards are worth it.

I'm in this boat as well. The rewards aren't that great, and the prestige of the card has worn off. My CSP is 20 times cooler lol.

With half of the annual fee, and better rewards. No reason to keep the PRG.

I also want to be eligible next time one of those 100k Platinum offers shows up. Holding the Gold prevents that.
