Thread: Which should I get?

I'm thinking about getting an AmEx card and adding to my "Wallet portfolio." I'm mainly looking at the green, gold, or platinum. I don't really travel, but when I do...the perks would be nice. I don't mind paying an annual fee. So, getting an AmEx is not a problem for me. I just want to know everyone's opinion on what card should I get....or what is the general consensus for an all-around AmEx card? Thank you for the input

Great card! "don't leave home without it". Amex was one of my first cards and is still my favorite.

If you don't already have a cash back card take a look at BCP or BCE

Not that much like most people on here. Instead of thousands, its more like hundreds with me lol It would just be for everyday stuff, but I already have Chase Freedom. I just want to add AmEx to my wallet. You know, diversify.

Yeah, I thought about the BCE for shopping, groceries, but I already have a Chase Freedom for that. I also was looking into getting the AmEx SPG. That seems like a great card. I just have the free SPG card they give you at the front desk, if you want one. I chose to get one and she still gave me a free room upgrade. That was nice. She tried to get me to apply for the actual credit card. I told her let me think about it and she still gave me the room upgrade. The SPG seems like a good one though.
