I just bought a laptop using paypal which used my AmEx as the funding source, will it be eligible for the extended warranty program, or did I have to use it directly?

I thought there was a past thread on the American Express message board here about this with the answer but I was unable to locate it through the search function.
From what I know the requirements are that the items is paid for 100% with the applicable American Express card in order to qualify for the extended warranty program. I don't see why Paypal would exclude you as long as the transaction record clearly documented what the purchase was and the entire amount was debited from your American Express card. Perhaps the only way to know for sure is to call American Express and ask them directly if purchases through Paypal still qualify for the extended warranty. |

I have a question about this too actually.
I bought a vaccum on black Friday in '08 and it stopped working. What a piece of junk it lasted like 4 or 5 months. I got it at Target but it is beyond the return period. If I put it on my Amex can I use the extended warranty or purchase protection??
