Not likely. That's not something you get even with platinum.
Every airline reserves most upgrades for their own frequent flyers. Even if you are theoretically entitled to be on the upgrade list, flights are so crowded these days that you will seldom get upgraded based solely on your credit card, except possibly some of the airline co-branded cards. I fly a fair bit and often get upgraded. But it is because of my status with the airline not because of the plastic I carry.
Doesn't the Centurion Card from Amex do just that; automatic upgrades to first class if there's room? However, if you make enough to qualify for the Centurion Card you can probably afford to just buy the First Class ticket and not take a chance...
