List of department stores for AmEx?

Postby 432521 » Fri Aug 03, 2012 10:06 pm

So I just got the BCE and it says 2% on department stores. Does anyone have a list of stores that would be considered a department store according to Amex?

you came to the right person.

a department store is categorized as a store that sells jewelry, fragrances, make up, cologne, designers wallets, cosmetics.

Lord&Taylor
Macys
Dillards
Kohls
JC Penney
Sears
Nordstroms
Neiman Marcus
Blooming dales
Sacks 5th avenue
Bergerdorf goodmans

Walmart and target are discounted stores so they go under general merchandise like Barnes and nobles, champs and Foot locker - these stores are NOT DEPARTMENT STORES

Fidelity Amex and Priceline Visa offer 2% cash back everywhere, no need for a list to sort through.
