Default How long for bonus miles to post?

I've had my gold delta skymiles card for amonth and a week and have spent far over the $500 required for the 30,000 bonus skymiles. I read my card agreement which just said the bonus miles could take up to a month to post to your skymiles account. This is a newbie question I know, but does that mean they will post 2-4 weeks from the time you hit the required amount spent, or after that months bill has posted?
    Cards in my wallet:
-Citi Forward Card for College Students-July 2011
-American Express Platinum Delta Skymiles--July 2013

Takes 6-8 weeks to hit once you cross the threshold. After 8 weeks just call and they can manually post.

When credit card companies say "a month", it usually means a month after the end of the billing cycle in which you met the spending requirement.

    Main Card: Amex Platinum
For gas: Penfed Platinum Cash Rewards
For travel & dining: Chase Sapphire Preferred

Do you mean call if by a month they aren't posted to my skymiles account? Also should I call delta or Amex?

The promo is with American Express. 8 weeks after your first statement if they are not in your account, call American express. They can research it from there.

Sorry that sounded rude. Long day here. Most cases they do show up on the first statement or shortly after it.

I can't blame you. I am the same way. I almost lost out of my promo for my Platinum Card and they had to manually force those extras on to my account. Had to do with how the upgrade was processed. The rep had forgotten to put the promo on the account. Glad I saved the original offer with promo code.

You should be good. I haven't heard of many having issues with getting the points. They goofed on mine and gave me double. They let me keep them since it was their mistake
