    Question American Express Military Benefits?

Hello, this is my first post here. Ive read through a lot of thread about being denied and accepted for the Amex Blue Cash card.

I opened my first credit card through GE capital with my father as the cosigner a year and 2 months ago, I received a credit limit of 1200.

After a year of good standing last month I opened a platinum Mastercard with no cosigner through USAA with a credit limit of 4000.

Well I checked my Experian score and it is at 765 and my average card date is 0.8 years with a oldest card of 1.4 years. I know Amex takes the length of your credit history and your annual income into effect but being in the armed forces I only bring in about 17k a year.

Does American express take people being into the military as a plus or anything and how likely is it ill get approved for this card?

They look at how long you have been enlisted, what your rank is, and determine how likely you are going to pay it back. It is likely you have more job security working for the Federal government and less likely to lose your job. USAA offers an AmEx. You should get one through them, unless you are looking to get a rewards card, which is a little harder.
