Question Platinum Holders have "Special" privileges at theme parks?

Straight to the point... Do AMEX Platinum card holders have "special" privileges, access, and services when visiting places like
    • Universal Studios Hollywood
    • Disney Parks and Resorts
    • Magic Mountain
    • Knotts Berry Farm
    • Other places not mentioned?

Are there any access that is restricted to general public or difficult to get into without AMEX Platinum/Gold card on those places?

I'm planning to go there if the perks associated with AMEX charge cards like Platinum and Gold cards are worth it or worth going there.

Out of topic but funny story... I went to Enterprise to rent a car since my car broke down and at the dealer for service. Enterprise employee asked for a credit card but I gave my AMEX Platinum since there is no credit limit on that. The employee then asked me if I want to upgrade to Luxury (Mercedes Benz) from Compact Ford Focus at the same price. XD

They joke a lot there since it was my second time renting a car from them. Quite friendly.

Back to my concern... Anyone know anything about those entertainment spots, parks and resorts?

I have not visited any theme parks since having the platinum. I kind of doubt that you have any special access or perks but I would not rule it out. If I were you I would call the concierge and ask. Even if there are no free special perks they might be able to set you up with behind the scenes tours or something that you might be interested in. It's also not unusual for package deals to be available through hotels. You might find that there is something that appeals to you.

Bottom line - you have the personal concierge available, this is the kind of thing they are there for!
