Thread: American Express Pre-Selected Card Offers?

I don't understand how the American Express pre selector is supposed to work. It doesn't tell me that I'm pre-selected for anything (or not), it just has me "find the card that's right for me" and then ends with a page with a button that says "apply now".

Where is the pre-selection feature?

I'm not an expert, but I think if it doesn't show you any cards you aren't pre selected to any.

I was pre selected to the Delta sky miles card a while ago, but now when I check there is nothing there besides a random card they suggested.

And by the way, when I was pre selected, I applied and was rejected. Couple of months later I applied without being "pre selected" and I was approved. So I'm not sure being pre selected means much.
