Awesome!! I also just got the Amex Gold to check it out given the waived annual fee and the fact I love my amex sky card.

Don't know yet how I feel about the Gold yet, I thought it also had concierge access, guess I might have to wait out for the Platinum. Although I also decided to do the Chase Sapphire Preferred to see whether that was a better fit. I do travel quite a bit and Chase Preferred has the added benefit of concierge without the Platinum price. I do like the Amex service but Chase also has a good customer service, they were very quick to clear up a disputed charge on my regular Chase Sapphire.

Just got the gold at age 21, pretty surprised. Its has such great customer reviews, rewards etc. I had to give it a try. Whats your favorite thing about the card?

    Default Hitting the Gold

Thats great and congrats. I just got my gold and they overnighted it to me. It was beautiful, from the package to the card. I don't think any other card besides the PLATINUM or BLACK CARD, is better than the Gold. The sapphire is cool but it's just imitating the Gold, and it doesn't do a good job. The gold makes you feel important and pulling it out is a sign that the card holder is responsible and financially savvy. Congrats and welcome to the FAMILIA!

Question: With the Gold, do you get your own concierge number to call if you need reservations or something?

Sort of, there is a 24/7 line you call to help u with certain things especially if your overseas, but Platinum has full concierge

Don't have gold. But I don't think so. I think you need to have Plat and Centurion to have concierge. For travel, AMEX travel is available for gold and I think there are gold member deals in travel there.

Money Card...I'm new here so I have a quick question for you...Why do you ask if the AMEX bill is sent to your home or office? Thanks!

ok so I know I keep posting here about this but I keep having dilemas....
I have a FICO score of 750 and will have a credit history for one year next month. I want to get an amex card (have citi forward college card with 2000 limit). I'm not sure whether i should get the (1) zync (2) gold or (3) delta gold. My reasoning for the zync is because perhaps I have a better shot at getting approved with my one year of credit (have always paid in full, never went over limit etc.) and this will build a relationship then apply for a gold after a time. I actually though want the gold because I like the benefits and with the zync you can't transfer your points to miles. Because I intend to transfer my purchases to miles to get free flights I thought the delta gold card was a good choice plus I have seen others my age getting approved in airports and on this forum so I thought with my info I might have a chance. Which one do you guys think? Would it be bad to apply for all 3 and see what occurs?
