Hey Guys,
Hope all is well. So I've been eyeing a switch recently from my Amex Zync to Amex Gold. To give some brief background I'm a current senior in college with the following cards:
BankAmericard Visa (Since '08)
Amex BlueCash Preferred (Since Dec '10)
Amex Zync (Since Dec '09).
I have a good payment history with no late payments on any of them, ever. And I've paid the balance in full every month on each card (including the BankAmericard) I have no student debt (or any other debt) and the last time I checked my score it was around 730ish.
The reason I've been eyeing the change is because I'll be graduating in June and starting a new job requiring me to travel quite a bit and the 3x point looks enticing. I don't want a dedicated "miles card" because I don't want to have to use like four different cards. I would much rather have an all around card (in addition to the visa and blue cash) and I've had a phenomenal experience with my zync thus far so I'm set on staying with Amex. I'm eyeing the change now simply because it's the end of the year and it'd be nice to have fees and such be on the fiscal year rather than some random month (pet peeve of mine).
In any case, what do you guys think?
