Thread: Why is there such a lack of AmEx choice in the UK ?

I live in the UK and have been looking over the American Express website, and have noticed there is such a lack of card choice in comparison to other countries. Obviously the biggest choice is the USA, but even in other Countries, they have more choice than the UK.

I would be interested in getting the Zync or Blue Cash card, but there not advertised on the UK website, although a regular customer to my work, who has a UK address has a Blue Cash card, so i dont understand how she has one.

If i go into my American Express branch in Edinburgh, would they give me more options ?

I am not sure why, but I can tell you I have been thinking the same way for long time, to be exactly since AMEX launch the RED card, I really want it, but there was no way to getting on this side of the Atlantic. And now is gone!
