Default Should I get the BC Everyday + other questions

Hi there, I love this forum and read it frequently but this is my first time posting.

Yesterday I received an offer for the Blue Cash Everyday card and it actually caught my interest. Here is what they are offering:

$250 cash back after $1,000 spent in first 90 days of cardmembership
0% APR for 15 months then variable APR, currently 17.24%
    No annual fee
Along with the normal cash back tier (3% groceries, 2% gas, 2% department stores, 1% everywhere)
Along with other nice bonus benefits (extended warranties, insurances, return protection, etc)

I was not in the market for another card but this one looked promising. The 0% for the holidays would be nice and the $250 cash back seems higher then I have seen in the past. Here are my questions:

The $250 bonus says "Offer valid for first-time American Express Cardmemebers only". Now, we already have an AmEx card, but we signed up for it under my DH's name. On my credit report it lists me as Authorized Account. Does anyone know if I would still qualify as a "first-time American Express Cardmember" in this case?

Is there any reason not to have 2 different AmEx cards? Our other one is the Costco AmEx card. Right now we only use it for gas purchases since it is higher then our other cards in that area.

Another question on sorting through our cards.. maybe a quick background first..
(We are in our early 30's, both have credit scores between 750-800. We have NEVER carried a balance and pay on time every month) We only have a few cards:

*AmEx~ Costco- Use mostly for gas
*Chase~ Sapphire- Use this a lot
*Gap Visa- Use this a lot and like it. Great for Gap brand rewards
BofA~ Royal Caribbean (plan on discontinuing use of this once I get enough points for a cruise. I shouldn't have got it in the first place but we're almost there! They just don't offer much)
Home Depot Store Card- (use only when we are remodeling and they have the 0% offers. Maybe a couple times a year max)

Are we doing ok with not closing them and using them all a bit? I believe all are under my name as individual user with DH as a authorized user except for the Costco card. Would it be wise to put something new in DH's name? I am not thinking the Blue Card, I am actually thinking the Victoria's Secret Angel card. I know, a Store Card! I have been thinking about getting it for a while because I buy virtually all my lingerie and clothing from them and the rewards are quite good for a store card (again, I know the interest rate is high but we would not carry a balance). And would it be dumb to get that card sooner then later and me also get the Blue Card as far as credit dings go?

We are still addicted to our debit card but hope to start earning more rewards with credit cards. We are learning to use them for more everyday purchases and not just online purchases. Maybe the Blue card will fit in that spot as a good one to use?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The offer is for the regular. Could I switch to the preferred later if I use it enough to make it worthwhile? Also, anyone know on my question about being a "new cardholder" or not?

You could do that, however you need to wait at least 13 months before doing a product change...
Amex Blue Cash Everyday - 15k CL | Chase Sapphire Preferred - 8k CL

    PenFed Platinum Rewards - 8k CL | Chase Freedom - 5k CL

I got the BC Everyday and should get it this week. The credit limit I was approved for was very, very high compared to my other cards. Can't wait to try it out for holiday shopping!
