Default Increased junk mail from AMEX

    hello all,

has anyone also experienced an increase of "junk" mail from AMEX? Within the last two weeks I received restaurant certificate offers and an AMEX lottery.

Nope. I get very little junk mail from AMEX. I think you can shut it off just by calling and asking.

Yes, call them and tell them to turn off the junk mail. It will make your life easier and it will force the USPS to face the reality that its business model is outdated that much sooner.

My household gets an average of 2 credit card mailings per day, mostly from Chase and Citi, but also from AMEX, a Harley card offer last week, and just a couple of days ago an offer from Discover for a $25K personal signature loan. It's truly astounding the sheer volume of offers for credit my wife and I get. It has to be costing them a fortune.
