They said hes the FRONTRUNNER expected to replaces the CEO of Citi
Expect BIG CHANGES with AMEX rewards if they get a bad CEO in there as a replacement

I don't know that Ken Chenault moving from AMEX to Citi is a good idea for him. I mean, that business went from a $244 billion dollar brand to a $20 billion dollar brand in a matter of a couple years. Who in their right mind would board that sinking ship? I think Ken actually likes that they are going down because that means less competition for us.I'm sure every banking organization in the world would love to have a leader like Ken at the helm, but you don't leave the flagship financial institution for a lesser brand. That is just stupid.
If this dude goes to Citi that is kind of trashy for him to do. Citi like you said has gone to 10% of their value and their slogan is "Citi never sleeps" but that's only because they are too busy spending the $300 billion from the feds they got and I wouldn't be able to sleep either if I had to spend that much it's a lot of work!
Amex has a way better image and prestige than Citi. This Ken guy needs to stay right where he is.
If he does go then Fuzz you need to go work your way up at Amex and then take Ken's place. You are both lawyers so why not?![]()
