    Default Name on business credit cards, is changing it bad?

    A quick question regarding my sole proprietorship business. I'm planning on applying for a Plum Card (credit score around 750), however, before I apply, I would really like to change my dba name. Just want to check if changing my dba name will negatively impact my chances of being improved? On the IRS website it states that your federal tax ID # stays the same, so that's good.

    it's your company so that's up to you.

    if you own a famous company like federal express and you want to change that might be a different situation.
