Post AMEX Charge Cards reported on credit bureaus

    Hi,

Does any one have any idea how long it takes to get the AMEX charge cards reported on the credit bureaus?

    Thanks in advance.

From what I understand, new credit accounts do not show up on your CR until 6 months.

Nah, it's quicker than that. It should report shortly after your first statement closes.

Does any one have any more clear idea about this?

I am wondering why my charge cards are not reported to CRs.

Charge cards are still reported, though their strengths as far as scoring via FICO would be length of history, and payment history as opposed to any utilization- since they're considered open and not revolving (essentially no pre-set credit limit).
