Thread: 2 new reward cards for Mercedes Benz

This is the new boy in town.

AMEX - MB: Earn 5x points on eligible Mercedes-Benz purchases, 3x points on gas purchases, 2x points on restaurants, 1x points on everything else.

This one looks better for people who drive a lot and need to refuel a every second day.

Is it better than AMEX GPR?
1 point for every eligible dollar, 3x points on airfare, 2x points on gas & groceries and at the American Express Travel website. 2X - 10X with select partners

how much does a mercedes benz cost? how much does the oil and lube cost plus all other parts and labor?

I have a feeling it cost more than Brooks brothers .

when somebody tells you that you get 5x points at a mercedes dealer you might want to ask yourself the questions I asked you. then you might want to think about comparing 5x points from a store vantage point like Brooks brothers, I just used that store as an example.

I don't care about the 5x for buying a new MB, i think that the 3x Points on gas purchases and 2x points at restaurants are better than the 2x points on gas from GPW, at least based on my expenses.
