    Wink Credit score for Delta American Express cards?

    Hi All!! I would like to know what is the average credit score of 1st time applicant of the Delta American Express Gold SkyMiles card and Platinum cards. I am trying to decide which card to apply for. My family and I travel to Europe and Africa, so we need all the airmiles we can get our hands on!! Thanks!!!

    My Fico score was in the low 700s when I was approved for the Amex SPG. I requested a product change (PC) recently from Amex and they gave me the options of Delta Amex or Blue Cash Everyday.

    FYI....YMMV.
    Amex pulled EX and I only have 2 hard iqs L2 yrs. My AAoA is 7yrs and a perfect payment history. I don't have my EX fico, only Plus score. And my EX plus score was 745 at the time of approval.

    I was 700-720 across all three bureaus when I was approved for AMEX Delta Gold with a line of $2k 11/2010. That line has since been increased to $5k.

    No less than 700, the card requires good to excellent credit and i believe that 720 will be my guess.
