    Default The Amex 15,000 points (recurring bonus) for 30k annual spending

    If I got my card in Feb 2011 does American Express prorate the spending or at least give me 12 calender months to spend the 30k?

    good question. I'm in for the answer on this one too. I was under the impression that it was calendar year but I'm not sure about that first year. I was asked this the other day by my brother and didn't know the correct answer.

    which level (as in color) do you have? or do you have a hotel or airlines card. example Hilton under hotel? jet blue under airline?

    Assuming this is PR Gold its in a Calendar Year so it'll be Feb 2011 - Dec 2011, then Jan 2012 - Dec 2012 (rinse and repeat)
