I applied for the AMEX Blue Sky card about a week ago and still haven't received a response, and when I check the status of the application it still says "In Progress". My credit score is ~740 and I own an AMEX green which I got last year. Does anyone know how long it takes to be approved/denied? The last time I applied (2 years ago) I was instantly denied, but I suspect that was due to having a shorter credit history.

The way it's explained to me if you already have a card from them the application is shorter and should take less time.

Manual credit reviews are pretty common these days. Any update on the outcome here with your approval?
