"Should" is your call. Does "honor" trump the results of the running the numbers for you?

What? Do you want us to tell you: no buddy, your score is great for a person your age! You rock!
Personally I won't.

Sounds like you're reading too much into it. Most post their score as if we know whether or not it will lead to an approval.

In all honesty, i didn't even know that was a good score. I always thought 750 FICO was good and 720 FICO was okay. Considering that it was just an Experian score, i didn't really take it seriously because i've seen cases where someone can have a okay Experian score, but terrible TU and EU scores.

Credit score is only one of several criteria a creditor considers when deciding whether or not to approve. I've been denied by creditors who cite my "low" 750 FICO score and then six months down the line approve me with a 720. Heck, I was recently denied by Bank of America and the reason given was "Not enough revolving accounts." As you can see from my signature... I don't really suffer from a paucity of revolvers!
In my Wallet:
  • Amex PRG NPSL[3-14, bd 91]
  • Sallie Mae MC $8000[1-14]
  • Chase Freedom $4700[1-14]
  • Discover It $2750[8-13]
  • BoA UCF Alumni Cash Rewards $5000 [3-15]
Sometimes in my Wallet:
  • GM BuyPower WEMC $5000[9-14]
  • Wells Fargo Propel 365 Amex $7000[4-14]
  • Barclaycard Arrival WEMC $7000[3-14]
  • BoA Better Balance $3000[2-15]
In my sockdrawer: Amex BCE $1000[10-13, bd 91], OCCU Duck $10000 [11-13], The Sportsman's Guide Visa $8000[8-14], Chase Slate $4000 [9-14]Delta Gold Amex $2000 [2-15 bd 91], Diners Club MC $20000 [10-14] Commerce Bank Visa $2000 [3-15] Citi Double Cash $1000 [3-15]
Total CL: $90450

I wish my Chase Freedom was that high. I'm still stuck with my high school credit limit of $300. Chase changed my +1 student card to a Freedom card and has refused to increase my credit limit since then, even though i pay off my balance every month. Efforts to increase my CLI have lead to 3 inquiries, but no increase. They always send me stupid emails talking about "take advantage of your card and book Andrea Bocelli tickets." I simply reply "i only have $300, i can't do that even if i wanted.

Have you tried actually calling them and talking to a person rather than just relying on emails?

Funny thing is that i have a Slate card ($2500) and an Amazon card ($2000) with them. Why can't they just increase my Freedom card that i actually want to use? beats the hell out of me...

Have you asked about transferring CL from those other cards?
