AMEX Costco

Postby Michael » Thu Apr 10, 2014 8:12 am

My wife just applied for and was accepted for this card ($15000 limit).

I was added as an authorized user and account manager.

Will this card , which will get paid in full each month, help my credit score/utilization also?

I also have (in my name) BCP ($30000) with my wife as Account Manager and AU.

We plan to use AMEX BCP for groceries and gas, and AMEX Costco for dining and travel.

Cap One Quicksilver for all else.

Congratulations on your Costco card! Yes, this will report onto your credit report, assuming you've given us your SSN at time of being added. If not, we will request it by letter in three months time and after that, will report all data available on the account.

All depends on its utilization versus your own. It's likely to if you're PIF'ing but just keep in mind that PIF'ing by the due date doesn't mean that no balance reports.
