nismoZtuner wrote:Well funny thing. My boss keeps getting business card offers from amex. And the son (he competes with me on cards -_- ...*he gets daddy money*) he carries one of those "your name goes here" cards on his wallet only showing "American Express Business Platinum" but hiding the bottom part..
Dr.Mark wrote:Oh my god! Poor thing. That must be hurting his ego. ahaha
nismoZtuner wrote:I bet, I have adapted to his egoism stuff so I just tell him what he wants to hear- if you know what I mean..
He`s going for the Ritz Carlton card just to show it off to me (I used to want it) -He applied for it but chase was not able to very his information so he was denied but called in and was asked to mail in his information.. I have the Marriott Premier Signature card.. I mean I would get that Ritz card but that fee I don't like ($395) that's why I settled for Marriott ($85) I have stuff to pay --_--.. I don't get daddy or mommy money like he does
Dr.Mark wrote:Yeah, I totally know what you mean. I have to work my way in the world too. That's the reason why when I upgraded my AmEx Green I didn't go for the Platinum but rather for the PRG. 450£/year wasn't just worth it for me. Not yet, at least.
nismoZtuner wrote:Yup, I have to get my own stuff- not born into that family ladder business..
wow that that much for a PRG- I will pa y $175 on June for mine.. you should come to America and get the cards then head back..
Dr.Mark wrote:No, 450£ is for the Platinum. I pay 125£ for my PRG which is like yours AF more or less.
Yeah, but I don't think they would give a single card without some history...
nismoZtuner wrote:that's $209 according to Google currency.
-I do have a friend in japan that pays about $275 for the PRG. (he should have applied for it here in the US before leaving to Japan..
