I think there is something wonky going on for AmEx today. I tried calling CS and was played a recorded message that unforeseen circumstances have resulted in delays for speaking to a rep. I was advised to wait 24 hrs and call back if my needs were not emergency related. My question was not an emergency but I stayed on the line anyway...probably waited no more than 5-10 mins.
