Still need to know whether AU contributes to the 30tx or each card needs to hit 30tx. I'd rather not have to try extra hard to get in an extra swipe wherever I can. But if AU counts, that makes life really simple.

Still wishing Amex throws a bone for PRG/gold/green cardholders though...

I want to say AU does contribute but I can't remember for certain. I may go I to the office tonight - if I do, I'll advise, otherwise I'll confirm tomorrow.

I can confirm that supplementary cardmember charges will qualify toward the transaction bonus threshold.

You wanna know how to hit that transaction limit pretty easily? Look for all those kindle books for 1 to 3 dollars each on Amazon that you've been wanting, and buy them using the card, one at a time. Wait for the email to come from Amazon that your card has been charged before buying each one. Or music songs from albums you've been wanting - buy them one song at a time.

I've seen a ton of books on there for that range I've been wanting and have some in my wishlist now. Do it right and you can get that bonus without spending a fortune extra every month. Of course the less you spend the less your bonus so it's good to mix it up with some high spend too when it makes sense but if you do it right you should be able to get that 20 or 50% bonus.
